Maximum age: There is no maximum age limit. You must be reasonably fit to raft for approx. 2.5 to 3 hours.
Children below 14 years of age are not allowed for river rafting in Kolad.

Option 2: Hire a driver at the rafting start point
Drivers are available at the river rafting start point. For approx. ₹ 400 to ₹ 500 they will drive the car to the river rafting end point.
With driver
There is no need to hire auto or a driver in case you already have a driver. When you go for river rafting, your driver can drive the car to the river rafting end point to pick you up.
Transport from resort / place of stay to rafting venue
If you are staying at a resort in Kolad, below are your transport options to reach the rafting venue.
Option 1: Hire an auto at the resort
You can hire an auto to travel from your resort to the rafting start point.
The auto will take you from the resort to the river rafting start point.
The same auto will drive to the rafting end point and wait for you there.
The same auto will then take you from the rafting end point to your resort.
The cost for hiring an auto for this entire round trip from your resort – back to your resort is approx. ₹ 1,000 (for the entire auto). It accommodates 8 people and the cost is divided between the number of people / groups sharing the auto.
Option 2: Hire a driver at the rafting start point
You can drive to the rafting start point by your car.
Drivers are available at the river rafting start point. For approx. ₹ 400 to ₹ 500 they will drive the car to the river rafting end point.
After rafting, you can drive back to the resort by your car.

Changing Rooms
The river rafting venue is in a remote location in Kolad. There are no proper changing rooms at the river rafting start point and end point.
There is no changing facility at the river rafting start point. We recommend you to come dressed for river rafting from your home / resort / place of stay.
Very basic huts (zopdi) are available at the river rafting end point for changing.
Tip
Book your lunch at a nearby resort. This way, after river rafting, you can go to the resort for lunch and also access their common changing rooms.
